4 reasons Pineapples should be in your skin routine

Alright lets take a second and be grateful for pineapples not only do they taste fabulous but they fit right into most beauty routines! exciting to say the least.

Pineapple benefits are countless!!!

Did you know Pineapple juice is the storehouse of vitamin C, also another important component is the  bromelain and antioxidants, which are extremely beneficial in the treatment and prevention of several skin issues such as acne, fine lines, sun damaged and uneven skin toning and the list goes on.

Youthful Skin Avocate

The Vitamin C in pineapples helps in cell and tissue repair plus boosts collagen production! This means skin will be looking firm and youthful.

Clearer Complexion

Its kind of like magic they say. The vitamin C and bromelain content of pineapple juice make it effective acne treatment. Lets start with Bromelain this is an enzyme that softens skin and has been used since forever mainly fighting inflammation and swelling. Also daily consumption of  pineapple juice contributes to synthesize collagen, adding to this vitamin C and amino acids help in cell and tissue repair.

Anti-Inflammatory Properties

Inflammation we all hate it, affects everything from your joints to your heart so you want to have a diet hat reduce inflammation. Pineapples contain powerful compounds that fight off inflammation. A pineapple a day (more like a portion of it) can help to ease joint pain and other factors.

Healthier Nails

Yes they help with nails too! Pineapples can help because they contain nail-healthy nutrients. Its quite easy to apply fresh paste of pineapple, allow this to sit on your nails for 10 minutes or so, then wash it away and apply moisturizer.

Rewiring the Mind

People often say think positive. Think happy thoughts. Don’t think negative thoughts.   In a society where anxiety is at its full toll how can you completely not think negatively ? Everywhere you glance, whether social media, Netflix, peer groups etc…things , ideas, aspects of life that make you think negatively. Bills to pay, money to save, car to pay, job , rent, mortgage , how to dress, how to look, what to eat, weight gain,….so much to think of its overwhelming. So how can you break out of this cycle? The most important thing is to be conscious of your negative thoughts in order to rewire the brain. Ignoring them is probably the worse thing you can do. Like many facts of life it takes training , train yourself to think differently than 90% of the population.

1. Every time you encounter a negative thought that “pops” into your mind, greet it and then send it off with a positive thought or idea. Also bring some humor into it. ex: you get laid off: wow! finally i won’t have to burn down the building…ok now i can be a bounty hunter like i always imagined. Just laugh about it, you will get another job, you will meet new colleagues. no point in being sad or worried it won’t change anything in that moment except put you in a bad mood.

2.Stop being a victim of your own mind and thoughts. Our minds are extraordinary . What other species we know off, who can observe their own thought? truly amazing as an ability. But it has a bad side to it. Our mind can fall into a negative pattern and victimize us. The second you fall into that episode , be conscious of it and rewire your mind. You are not a victim, bad things aren’t happening to you , look at it as challenges, lessons to learn and grow from. rewire your thinking.

3. Surrond your self with positive thinkers, mentors, friends.  Their positivity will penetrate into your very own mindset. You become like the 5 people you often surround yourself with.

In the end its important you comprehend its never too late to change and rewire your mindset.
