Foundation has come a long way threw out the years. We can even say there is a revolution from glow to faux filter the options are infinite.Brands now have 30 or 40 shades or more. They are including blur factors to sunscreen to promising full coverage. As we truly see we’ve come a long way. So here are 5 of my favorite absolutes and what makes them so awesome.
1.CHANEL BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 25
Les Beiges foundation from chanel is the first foundation I put on and instantly woke up some senses. The aroma is unreal and surprisingly doesn’t irritate my skin, so that’s definitely a plus. I usually always wear light foundation and this one is perfect with an amazing coverage. My shade is N 20 i prefer a lighter base. You can apply a second coat if necessary . The application pump is perfect all you need is one pump! I honestly love this foundation, also it had me at SPF 25.
2. TARTE RAINFOREST OF THE SEA
This water foundation is honestly in all in one. What I mean by that is; affordable , great coverage, spf 15 and hypoallergenic , lastly vegan. Need I say more? Honestly makes your skin overall appear smoother and better. My shade is light neutral and is a perfect match. Weightless and can be layered with a second coat.
Just skin tinted moisturizer , which I discovered thanks to a friend and fell in love. Lightweight , with of course spf 15. Give me the perfect all day light coverage when I’m in a total rush and don’t have time to apply moisturizer , spf followed by foundation. Fun fact ladies, Men also like this foundation! It provides excellent, skin-smoothing coverage with a lovely blend of Thyme and Butterfly Bush Extract embracing powerful antioxidant benefits. My shade is GLOW.
4.GIORGIO ARMANI LUMIONOUS SILK
This is my special occasion foundation. More of a evening and night out since it has no spf in it, if you do apply it daily don’t forget to protect your skin. Whenever I want that luminous glow this is my savior. It feels lightweight and delivers buildable coverage as well as long-lasting, hydrating glow with a luminous, and my favorite a completly natural finish.Whats interesting is that its formulated with Micro-Fil technology, which produces a low-density product that pairs high-impact pigments. If you have olive skin go with 5.75 shade.
Velvet Matte Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is another amazing all in one squinting. Its has medium, build able coverage of a more everyday use. Advantages is its oil-free formula that also Helps to blur imperfections with a soft-matte finish.This moisturizer foundation is great for normal, combination, and oily skin types. My color in this is GROENLAND LIGHT 3.
